Policy & Research
We work towards an ideal of ‘rural proofing’ policy to prevent the unintended consequences of service cuts and disinvestment in public sector resources having a cumulative and crippling effect on rural communities.
Community Relations
Good Relations and Peace Building is a key objective of the organisation in helping meet the needs of an increasingly multi-cultural and diverse rural community and is undertaken through community development values.
Training & Skills
RCN supports volunteers and workers in rural communities to develop their skills, knowledge and training to enhance good practice in relation to rural community development with a wide variety of courses available.
